Nalophan foil on roll

Description

In addition to our standard Nalophan bags, we also supply Nalophan rolls, which are rolls containing 1,000 meters of Nalophan foil. You can cut this roll to length to create your own Nalophan bags. It is like a long cylinder of 1000 meters, you only have to close the top and bottom to create a sample bag.

We have the Nalophan foil rolls available in multiple widths (flat width) and are only available in a length of 1000 meters.

Instructions for making your own Nalophan bags

Making Nalophan bags is simple:

1. Cut the desired length of foil from the roll.
2. Fold the sides towards each other at the bottom like a kind of concertina, then fold it inwards once.
3. Now securely close the bottom using a tie-wrap. Pull it tight so that the bag is closed leak-proof. Cut off the unnecessary part of the tie-wrap.
4. Cut a piece of a PTFE hose (tubing), we recommend a length of approximately 14 cm. The inner diameter of the tube should be approximately 7-8 mm.
5. Take the top of the bag and slide the piece of PTFE tubing into it about 8 cm, place the tubing against the side of the bag. Make sure that the piece of tubing remains about 4-5 cm outside the bag.
6. Now fold the top containing the piece of PTFE tubing towards each other like a kind of harmonica. Once everything is together, you can tighten the bag firmly so that the hose is properly secured in the foil.
7. Then also close the top with a tie-wrap. Pull it tight so that the bag is closed leak-proof. Cut off the unnecessary part of the tie-wrap.
8. The bag is now closed at the bottom and top and ready for use.
