Frisby Davis Distance Stereotest (FD2)

Description

The Frisby Davis Distance Stereotest (FD2) measures distance stereopsis using real depth differences. No special testing glasses are required. It is suitable for children aged 3 years and over, adults and older patients.

Depth perception with recognisable shapes

The person being tested identifies which of four shapes appears closest: an arrow, cross, star or crescent moon. The examiner varies the depth difference by adjusting the position of the shapes.
